Welcome to SAF School

Welcome to SAF School

Aviation often finds itself at the center of climate discussions, and for good reason. Did you know the aviation industry is responsible for roughly 2% of global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions? Or that they have the potential to rise to 22% by 2050 if no efforts to decarbonize the industry are taken? Addressing emissions from this industry is imperative, and that’s where sustainable aviation fuel (otherwise known as SAF) comes in. SAF is produced from a variety of renewable resources, has a much lower carbon footprint and can be used in replacement of conventional jet fuel.

If you have yet to fully understand this fuel and why you should care about it, don’t worry; we’re here to help.

Introducing SAF School, our new editorial series that will take you on an educational journey about sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). From informative articles to video interviews, opinion pieces and more, consider us your go-to resource when you need to “phone a friend” to get the latest and greatest on all things SAF. The landscape may be ever-evolving and complex, but we’re committed to keeping you informed on SAF, a key player in the decarbonization of our planet.

If you have a question or a topic you’d love to see us explain or discuss, message us on Instagram or LinkedIn.

PS: Did you know that we create sustainable aviation fuel? Our AIRMADE™ Technology turns carbon dioxide into AIRMADE® SAF to address our planet’s biggest problem head-on.
