FUEL STORE: A New Era of Energy

Where’s the best place to talk about the next era of energy? Where the previous era left off.

That's why we opened FUEL STORE—a forward-thinking vision for what’s next—in Gasoline Alley, an area in New York that was once home to gas stations and auto shops. FUEL STORE was an immersive, physical space that allowed visitors to step into the world of AIRCO and the transformative breakthroughs we’ve made along our journey of transforming carbon dioxide (CO₂) into synthetic fuel. It was open to the public from April 30th to May 3rd.

AIRMADE^® Fuel can power industries across air, land, sea, and space, and FUEL STORE represented our vision for a gas station of the future, where CO₂ fuels everything from motocross bikes to jets to spaceships. It was designed to challenge how we think about energy, redefining how we power our world.

As part of the experience, we created 11 custom products that detail the impact AIRMADE™ Technology can have on our world (all of which you can shop here). Customized vintage bomber jackets celebrate the first 100% CO₂-derived jet flight with the U.S. Air Force, while life vests made from maritime flags and dry bags from upcycled sails nod to successful marine engine tests with the Defense Innovation Unit. You’ll also find a custom-wrapped motocross bike, representing AIRMADE™ Technology’s adaptability, and Mars-inspired pieces—including workwear and a conceptual helmet—that reflect our collaboration with NASA. We even went so far as to create a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Spacewich (yes, astronaut food). And that’s only scratching the surface.
